1996 Peugeot 106 Repair Question

Ive got a 1o6 diesel 1.5 and at the back of the fuel pump theres a white bit on the back witch twists does not tighten or get lose and diesel is leaking from it and it wont start now what should i do ?

You should not touch this, it will be a fuel stop adjuster i feel, the cap is just an anti tamper cap, you will have to get a diesel specialist to investigate this for you.
