HANGE OUT ON FUEL PUMP
1996 Oldsmobile 98 • 150,000 miles
What is the easiest way to change out my fuel pump?? Car runs fine but if it is driven a good distance it needs to sit for an hour or so before it will restart. I am assuming it's because the fuel pump got hot and needs time to cool down. Is there a way to go through the trunk or back seat to change it out?? I'm needing to do this asap so I would appreciate an anwser at your earliest convience.
Fuel tank must be dropped to gain acess to the pump. no short cuts here
Thanks for the timely response to my question. I was afraid this was the anwser.Looks like a long day for me.
Take your time and be carefull
