Heat and defrost won't work.

The following things all happened at the same time. Fan for heat or AC (ac hasn't worked for awhile) quit; Light for AC or rear defrost does not come on when pushed. There is no warmth at all coming from the vents. The only control that seems to work at all is the Bi-level, you can feel some air coming from vents when in this position. Can do without heat, but really need that defroster. Thanks for any suggestions.

Have you checked fuses? Are you getting heat even though the fan doesn't work?

Fuses have been checked, and no there is not heat at all, even with temp. Dial turned all the way to the hot side. Electrical, maybe?

That makes things easier. The temp is obtained via a blend air door. IT is near the heater core. It opens and closes based on the desired temp. Check that for that problem. Next, there are other directional doors in the system (under the dash) that direct air flow. Check yours to see if they are actuated by vacuum or electric. My guess is vacuum. Check to see if there are any vacuum leaks to the system.
