1996 Nissan Skyline Repair Question

Power steering
Hi i have 1996 nissan skyline mk 1,i am getting starvation 2 steering pump steering stiff at times makes bad grinding sound wen steering applied,i changed steering pump but same problem occurs.

Check the hose from reservoir to pump for for clogging. Check the reservoir oil strainer.
If the reservoir is foaming, check for leakages between reservoir and pump. Check the belt for slipping.
