Remove dipstick guide tube.
Remove poly V-belt and unbolt power steering pump (28) with pipes connected.

Swivel power steering pump (28) with pipes connected to the side.
Drain coolant at radiator and at crankcase.
Remove cover (1) at front.
Unplug electrical connectors at coolant pump.
Unbolt heating water return pipe (27) at coolant pump (4) and viscous fan bearing bracket.
Unbolt coolant pipe (6) to oil-to-water heat exchanger.
Take off coolant hoses (9), (10) and (11).
Unscrew 8 x 30 mm bolts (5).

NOTE: Place rear bolts (5) into the threaded holes with a pencil type magnet Because of accessibility.

Remove coolant pump (4) with teak water pipe (4a).

NOTE: The coolant pump is fixed in position with two dowel sleeves (8). Insert leak water pipe (4a) into coolant pump and combination support.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following: Tighten 8 x 30 mm bolts (5) to 21 Nm
Replace seals (5), (7) and (27a).
Check cooling system for leaks.
