Hi there, somthing is wrong with my car, it is a 96 mazda protege, and for some reason it has started acting up. It is taking longer than usual to get up to speed, and when it gets around or above 30mph it boggs down and I hae to let off of the gas for it to recover and continue driving. It does this several times while driving.
please let me know if you can help me! Thanks!

Could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.

Catalytic converter.

Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.

Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.

Throttle position sensor.

Crankshaft position sensor

Knock sensor

Manifold absolute pressure sensor.

EGR Valve

Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.

Fuel contamination.

Foul/defective spark plugs.

Open spark plug wires.

Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.

Incorrect ignition timing.

Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.
