1996 Lincoln Continental Repair Question

Fan running after engin is off
My cooloing fan is running and drining my battery long after the car is off, have to unplug the fan or unhook the battery so that it doesnt runn down the battery, what can it be?

Inspect and test the fan relay could be sticking-
