my jeep grand cherokee has be stalling, stalling out and backfiring. It cranks up then knocks off sometimes. Once it is running it will hesitate and or not take fuel. It has also backfired. I replaced the fuel filter and cleaned out the throttle body and had the fuel pressure checked (it was good). Mechanics looking at it do not know what else to do w/o taking apart the fuel tank to get to the pump.

Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.

Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.

Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.
