Why does it continue to overheat?

Even after I replaced the radiator, replaced the thermostat, checked the water pump and it works fine. Its been below freezing temperatures for a few days. But it overheated and cracked the radiator. I replaced the radiator, the thermostat, and the water pump works just fine, its full on coolant, and I do believe the electric fan quit working. Why does it still overheat?
