Wont start, have put in a new battery, no lights showing?

Wont start, have put in a new battery, no lights showing on dashboard besides the light to indicate that the doors open, can anybody sort of tell me what I should do to get this car working please?

Hello,

Lets start with the basics.
Make sure the battery got installed is indeed a working battery and is not discharged.
If the battery you installed is defective then it will not provide power to the vehicle.

Check the battery connection. Make sure that the cables are secure and does not have any corrosion. If they are corroded clean them. Dirty cables can prevent the battery from connecting.

Also check the main fuse in the fuse box under the hood. It should be a 100A fuse. If its blown you may not have any power to the vehicle.
