On my 96 honda civic dx when I pull the cluctch back it died and when I tried to start it it would take a few turns to start it back up, when it finally started I had to gas it so it wouldnt stall this is not the first time its act like that.I can feel a little hesitation sometimes as Im driving it.. But then it would drive ok, I know there is somthing starting to go bad but im not sure what it can be. The clutch also feels like there is no clutch, but it goes into gear with no problem. Do clutch cables need adjusting?

Your vehicle is equipped with hydraulic clutch operations and adjustment is not required. It should not be the cause of the engine stalling.

You either have a fault with the idle control system or fuel supply. When engine could not be started after stalling, you need to check if it is sparks or fuel that is not getting to the respective components.

The hesitation should be related to the intermittent non starting and quite often it is caused by the PGM-FI main relay.
