I was driving my truck and the engine shut off. The vehicle still has power to everything. I drifted to the side of the road and tried to start it again and the engine just cranks but will not turn over.

Check fuel pressure and check for spark

I can hear the fuel pump running when I turn the key. When you say check for spark what exactly do you mean?

Pump may be running but not producing pressure.

Remove a spark plug wire and see it the end sparks against the block when cranking
