Hi guys I have a 96 GMC 1500 truck. I have push button 4 wheel drive 2 wd stays lit normally and when I hit 4 hi or low it flashes intill it ingages and then stay lit. I went to shift it into 4 wheel drive today and when I hit 4 HI it flashed for a second and then all the push button lights went off even the 2 wd one and the truck was stuck in 2wd. I got under the truck and the transfer case is wet as if it has just leaked mostley around were the front drive shaft goes into it. Any idea whats wrong? I don't want to bring it into a shop and they tell me it needs a new transfer case if it dose not. And two hours before this I backed a tow behinded camper in 4 low back my icy driveway no problem.
