My serpentine belt broke because my air conditioner compressor locked up..can i bypass the compressor?
Do i need to buy a new compressor or can i bypass it?

yes it is possible find out the length of the new belt you need also make sure in doing so that you do not change the direction of rotation to any of the remaining pullys wile rerouting

you can get a pulley replacement for the compressor from a company named dorman. any parts store can get it for you at a fraction of the cost of the compressor. remember, the compressor will be gone till you replace it.
