1996 Ford Taurus Repair Question

Cooling fan
My cooloing fan does not turn on ive changed senser,relay (that i bought at junk yard ),fuse but just the first day that i bougt the senser and conected it the fan turnd on so then i run it and the car gets hot mechanic says that it might be the cars computer dont know what it might be can you help can it be the catalic converter where can i get that checked out

Does the fan run now?
Your story says it did when you replaced some parts....then it quit?
If it ain't running now, investigate the connections your relay plugs into, I have seen the car end of the connections get hot and "Melty", sometimes when the relay, etc. etc, are pushed in, the other end pushes back, and really does not connect.......they may touch, but the other end is now recessed
