Ford Ranger Battery Problem

The truck was running fine until recently. I let it sit outside for a while during the winter months without starting it. The battery was dead so I jumped it. It idled fine for a bit, but as soon as I would press the clutch in, it would die. Then unable to start up again. And the dinging from the door being open was much quieter and anytime I even touched the brake or clutch, the dinging would stop while the truck was off.

The battery sounds dead, Remove it, recharge it, have it load tested at a parts store (they will do it for free) and if it passes, then replace it and try again. I think the battery is too low for the alt to charge it.
