Stering/breaking
I have a ford f350 4x4 diesel. it is hard to steer and brake. any idea what is wrong?

Sounds like you may have a hydro-boost system. That is common on diesels because they don't have enough vacuum to run a vacuum brake booster. Hydro-boost systems run on pressurized power steering fluid. Check the power steering pump, fluid, and belt.
