1996 Ford Contour stalling
1996 Ford Contour sedan with 127,000 miles
6 cyl 2.5 Automatic Front Wheel Drive
1996 Ford Contour stalling
Car has the 2.5 V6 starts beauiful. Go about 4 miles and stalls when you let off the gas. restarts good. Runs great when I unplug Mass Air flow sensor. Changed MAS 4 times , changed IAC , checked all vacumn lines, changed ATS Air Temp sensor. Cleaned out Throttle intake. ???
Could the Catalic converter heat up an the cause car to stall ?? But why does it run when I unplug the MAS. checked electrical and get no codes or engine lite. Bulb is good, it comes on when car stalls. but get no code when i plug in the tester.
