1996 Ford Contour please help me!

New battery and alternator, was driving, lights got dim, then lost power and stalled, started right back up but had no power no lights nothing. Went to pick it up, started, drove a bit, then stalled again, got any ideas? I cant afford to take it to a shop im a single mom and do my own labor/work.

Start at the battery and follow the smaller red positive wire to see if it bolts to an under-hood fuse box. If it does, tighten that nut. Be careful to not allow the tool to touch that nut AND anything metal on the car at the same time. That will cause major sparks.
