Dodge Ram Fuse Problem

My check engine light is on. i took it to auto zone to have it scanned for codes, the guy said there was a problem the computer wasn't talking to the scanner.i was told that my ecm fuse might be blowed i checked under the hood on my truck and all the fuses look fine and none say ecm fuse is it called somethaing else or am i lookin for the wrong fuse

Did you try accessing codes the old fashion way? Turn the key just till the dash lites come on, no further. Cycle the key on--off, on--off, on, then the check engine light starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes.

Also, check for voltage at pin 16 of datalink connector. Hot all the time.
