I have 1996 Grand Cherokee Sport and I am not getting fire from the cord to the distributor. I changed the crank system so what else could be the problem?

What do you mean by "crank system"? Are you referring to the crankshaft position sensor? That's just one part of many in that circuit. Have you checked for diagnostic fault codes? Have you checked for voltage at the ignition coil during cranking? And please, when you have an engine problem, tell us which engine you have.
