Car died

I have a 1996 chrysler new yorker and just had the fuel pump replaced.car dies at an 1/8 of a tank.can you help me with this problem.

Hook up a fuel pressure tester and monitor the pressure it will show as a sore thumb if its a fuel pressure problem
