Chevrolet Monte Carlo Body Problem

How can I stop my car from idleling high.. When I first start it, it shoots up to 2000 rpm...i have to instantly shut it off...when I turn it back on it only stays at 1500 rpm... When warm in park it stays at 1500, but in drive only at 1100. Which is still too high. I've change the TPS and cleaned the throttle real good. Can somebody please help me

It may have a bad IAC (idle air control) but 2,000 isn't really that high if it's momentary.

You may have a vacuum leak? Block off the mouth of throttle-body, any effect on the idle? It should kill the engine, if it doesn't, you got false air getting in there from somewhere.
