1996 Chevrolet Caprice electrical

Overnight the power windows and locks quit working. Later in the day the fuel gauge, heater, radio antenna, and dashboard started to act up as well. But it starts and runs fine. Cleaned the grounds I could find. Checked connectors on the ecm. All looks fine. Thinking the solenoid or ecm. Am I close

Not even close. Check battery for condition including load test most places do for free. Have a pro check to see if your dash is bad as this h appens a lot.

Battery is fine checked it. Dash was the last thing to go I think its alot deeper yhan that. Any more ideas would be cool thanks

Ive been at this for two weeks now. All my buddies are stumped by this one too. Ive worked on my own vehicles my whole life. Have never experienced any think like this. And im fifty. Lol

F door locks and windows aren't working and power goes to switch see If power goes to window motor if not check for a broken wires between door and jamb. That happens on older cars. Why does everyone jump to a bad ecm whe it has nothing to do with window operation? Also check relays at base of a pillar for locking and unlocking. If power does go to window motor then slam door hard as you can without breaking window. If it works motor is bad.

Thanks for the help it ended up being the ground under the carpet on the drivers side. Floor was rotted out there. Thanks again.
