1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Electrical System

Every once in a great while, the entire electrical system shuts down. Absolutely nothing that draws electricity works and the car dies. After some period of time (sometimes up to two hours), everything miraculously starts working again as if nothing ever happened. We know it has nothing to do with the battery because the battery is new and always tests strong. Could it have something to do with the car's security system? Could I not be locking or opening doors correctly or not using my key fob correctly? Any ideas?

This really needs to be looked at locally but check your maxi fuses underhood #2& #3 for corrosion if they are clean them off and use dielectric compound on them. Before reinstalling. Ithen checke remainder Maxi fuses. They are underhood. Make sure battery cable isn't corroded at terminal or at ends if you see any corrosion on cable replace it.
