In volvo 940,the car 'kicks' but the car cannot start.but there is current in the car.please help me

is it cranking??? was there any other issues prior to this??? is the battery good???

lol, Roy, when it kicks, it means it is cranking. Some people can't put the correct trems so we have to guess and feel the question. Makes it harder when they refuse to answer our queries.
