1995 Toyota Corolla Repair Question

95 Toyota Corolla sputters when quarter tank of gas and then cuts off
When in first gear car starts then seems like its not getting gas stalls and sometimes after will not start

Remove the fuel pump and see if the pick up sock is @ the lowest point in the tank.
