1995 Toyota Avalon Smoke

In the past two months after a cold start the car smokes. Also, the engine sounds real rough like a truck. Car does not smoke when driving. What could be the problem? Otherwise the car rides real well and if to repair is not a lot of money I would rather keep it. I change the oil regular about every 4,000 miles. Icheck the transmission oil and I used 89 octane gas from ctigo.

Usually such symptoms indicates the valve seals are worn and you would have some engine oil depletion in between oil changes. It is an indication the engine is aged and if it is not consuming too much engine oil, you need not worry about anything.
