Could be a relay or a control unit, something likely to be electrical.

Strange buzzing noise comming from glove box still buzzing when I take the keys out also I just had my cv boots replaced

I her the buzzing when I turn the engine off I has just started since I got new cv boots car is a 1.6 impreza 1995 at first I thought it was from the speaker but I realised it was comming from under glove box in a black circled case

It is some sort of relay and behind the glove box relays/modules present are :
1. Daytime Running Lights
2. Door Lock Timer.
3. ECM, not likely to send out buzzing noises.
4. FRESH/RECIRCULATING actuator
Any of these could be the cause.
