Gearbox or clutch?
I have a rover 216. Cannot engage the gears while engine is on unless I engage first, then switch on engine. Clutch feels allright - no loose play on pedal or anything. Only happened today. Could cold weather affect? Would it be clutch or gearbox gone? Cheers, James

If vehicle did not move forward when started in gear then clutch good.does it up shift ? down shift? Could be cold siezing input shaft to ,pilot bearing. What happened when box got warm?
