This female needs help. after city driving for about 10 miles and brakes heat up i have trouble stopping. car skips over the highway much like you would skip a stone over water. my mechanic says he can do no more with the brakes and that model just has terrible brakes. nothing else is wrong with this car and i hate to give it up but am at the mercy of mechanics. sometimes when i back up i hear a noise that sounds like i just ran over someones wagon left be hind the car. any ideas?
