1995 Peugeot 405 Repair Question

Peugeot 405 Fuse Problem
I have a 405 estate and the reversing lights, rear fog and number plate lights dont work. I have checked the bulbs and fuses and cleaned the earth connections in the engine bay but they still dont work. Any suggestions please. Cheers Simon Wiggs

Hi Simon,
I have the same problem. I had no idea these lights were not working until I got an MOT failure 2 days ago. Anyway, bulbs ok, fuses ok, so I scanned the circuit diagrams in the manual and it seems the number plate, fog and reversing lights all share a common earth connection inside the tailgate. It's covered in snow at the moment but will check inside the tailgate tomorrow and with any luck, problem solved. Hope this helps or at least points you in a logical direction.
