What causes the transmission to shift too soon
Not all the time but once and awhile the car will shift good from 1st to 2nd but it will quickly go through the other gears it will be in o/d by 35-40 and it wont down shift till the motor about dies and sometimes this happens at one light and will be fine by the next...hope im not lossing my tranny please help

could be the governor not working correctly. you need it checked by a trans shop to confirm. dont think it is a big problem. it may be something simple
