I just would like to know; if after changing a bad fuel pressure regulator, which caused gasoline to enter the intake plenum; would it produce white smoke from the tailpipe of the car upon starting.

White smoke is typical of burning coolant, usually from a leaking cylinder head gasket, but can be caused by a leaking intake manifold gasket on some engines. You didn't list the engine size. Excessive fuel causes black smoke at the tail pipe.
