Hi 2CARPROS. I have a 1995 nissan maxima V6 automatic. My reverse is ok but the drive is not. I have to wait about 15 to 20 minutes before it engages into gear. And when it does its okay again. Only when its cold it does not engage. Replaced filter and ATF already. What seems to be the problem? Thanks.

Sounds like internal problem could be sticking solenoid/valve spools within the valve body,could be still low in fluid-I recommend have it pressure tested to find out more what's going on-
