What could be the reason my AC stops blowing from time to time?

I have a 1995 nissan maxima (GLE). The ac has always worked fine until I had the ac and timing belt replaced about 2 months ago. Now the ac does not blow when it get hot sometimes. Electrically, everything comes on and I do hear the ac kick on and the both fans do work when the ac is on. What could be causing it to stop blowing from time to time? I was told it could be the blower. Your thoughts?

If it is the blower, then nothing is related to your prior repair.

Could also be icing up and blows warm till the ice melts and the low pressure comes back.

Thanks Roy! But it does not blow at all when it go off. In the morning, it works fine when I turn it on. Middle of the day, it goes off and may not come back on sometimes.

Then it may in fact be the blower motor. Have it tested when it fails to confirm.

Yeah, that's what I was going to do last Thursday with my mechanic. It went off and didn't come back on until I reached my mechanic. It came back on and worked great until I got back home, then it shut off again. Again, thanks Roy for ur help. What would be a reasonable cost for this repair?

About 80 for the blower and 1 hour labor.
