Overhaeting
Have 95 merc. Sable temp running high @ the r in normal on gauge ,Did visuale on thermostat a week ago and looked fairly new, can I take thermostat out completely as in phx area ?

You could as you wish-but the computer will be sensing the engine as cold and constantly be running rich due to the input signal of the coolant temperature sensor
