MERCURY MYSTIQUE VIBRATION PROBLEM
1995 Mercury Mystique • 150,000 miles
I have a problem with my car when it is idling. It vibrates on the steering wheel, the glove box and the dash. It vibrates when idling in park, neutral, reverse and drive. The vibration seems to be worse when in reverse. When idling and the rpm are at 1000 the car doesnt vibrate but when it idles at around 500 where my car idles it has an anoying vibration. I have recently gotten a tune-up which I thought would fix the problem but it didnt. I dont think it would be the motor mounts as I have looked at them and they look good and the engine doesnt shake. Im wondering if it could maybe need a fuel injection cleaning or maybe the timing is just a little off. I am desperate to find the problem so any ideas would help.
