Replace alternator
I need to replace my alternator on my 95 SC 300 Do I need a tool to loosen the tensioner and do I unplug the battery before I start

Yes you will disconnect the negative battery cable before you start.Look's like you have a spring loaded tensioner you just need a wrench to push the tensioner down away from the belt to get the belt off.
