Im having someone replace my headgaskets and I just wanted to know of all the parts that can be checked and replaced also during the headgasket repair. Also I was curious about theprocess of what the headgasket repair consisted of such as what needs to be done to fix this part because I read something about shaving headgasket before replacing.

Ya the head shold be shaved sometimes magnafluxed or zygloed if a crack is suspected. Shold get a head gasket intake an d valve cover at least. If the timing belt hasn't been replaced it sholdbe as well. Any other worn parts should be replaced at asame time.
