Turn on the ignition switch an engine starts with no problems, it shows all panel instrument. When ignition switch is turned off the engine remaind on, and the panel instruments turns off, when the key is removed from the ignition, the engine stays on, even when the key is removed. Headligth work fine.

Do you mean it runs like normal when this happens? Can you give it gas and it revs up? Check ignition switch itself if it's loose where mounted and these may be adjustable mount holes are slotted. This allows for adjust position to compensate for any slop in rod mechanism that comes from key assembly.
