Ford Taurus problem

1995 ford taurus LX 6cyl. 3.0. The car is shaking when put in reverse or drive and when I step on the gas pedal. Put in brand new cat converter 3 days ago and it did the same thing. Then today I put new ignition wires in and it ran like it was brand new for about a couple hours then it went back to the shaking.I dont know what it is. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

The car needs to be checked out by a professional. It sounds like something is fouling out the spark plugs. This may be something repairable and it could also be just a worn out engine. Someone needs to analyze it.

Thank you so much. The that makes sense about the spark plug thing because I remember a while ago when we changed all six of them and it ran good until I turned the a/c on and then it went back to shaking. Can u tell me what is it that can foul the spark plugs out?Or is that asking to much. Thanks again

Yes, that's asking too much. It needs to be inspected. It could be fuel from an external problem or oil from an internal problem.
