Dodge Neon Sensor Problem

I got a 95 dodge neon 2.0 sohc one evening I was driving down the road then all of a sudden it started to stubble around 60 mph. I managed to pull over cause it acted like it wanted to die. When I pulled over it died on me. No check engine light came on. I put it in park and start it up again. Then I go to put it in drive then it stalls. I try to start it again then it won't turn over. I wait a few min try it again then it would start. Weird. I had to get it towed home. I replayed the fuel filter, pump, nothing. Took the battery to get it checked it passed. Tested the alternator passed.one day I took the throttle body off cleaned it. Drove it down the street for about 15 min no problems. But as I was going up my driveway and pulled up in front of my garage, it stalled out before I could put it in park. Tryed to start it nothing wait a few min starts right up. I cleaned my injectors nothing. Put a new idle air control valve in nothing. A friend if mine told me its properly the tps. Another friend told me my timing may be off checked that checked out good. I talked to a mechanic at a dodge dealership and he told me it could be a bad torque converter. So my ? Is what could be the problem and what do I need to look for next?

HAVE YOU TRIED TO EXTRACT CODES?

COULD BE YOU HAVE A STORED CODE

THIS WOULD BE MY 1ST COURSE OF ACTION...BEFORE YOU THROW MORE PARTS AT IT

IN MY AREA OBD II CAN BE READ BY MOST AUTO STORES FOR FREE

THE ONLY STORE HERE THAT CAN READ OBD I -- IS "AUTOZONE".......THIS COULD BE TRUE FOR ALL OF THEIR STORES

REGARDLESS WHERE YOU GET IT CODED---WRITE DOWN THE ACTUAL NUMBERS----DON'T JUST RELY ON A PARTS HOUSE'S EMPLOYEE'S "OPINION" OF WHAT IT MEANS.....THEY CAN BE INTERPRETED DIFFERENT WAYS

BRING THE CODES BACK HERE (I MAY NOT BE MUCH HELP) BUT I CAN FIND ANOTHER TECH WHO MIGHT BE

I SORTA GOT A HECK OF A DEAL ON MINEI FIGURED IT'D MAKE A GOOD SPARE CAR---OR SOMETHING TO DRIVE WHEN FUEL WAS AN ISSUE---(AT NIGHT SO NO ONE WOULD NOT SEE ME WITHOUT ONE OF MY JEEPS!) I FOUND HIM WITH 63,000 MILES EVERYTHING NICE AND IN WORKING ORDER...30 MPG

(OWNERS SELDOM DROVE IT, THOUGHT IT HAD AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM, AS IT WAS ALWAYS DEAD WHEN THEY WANTED TO DRIVE HIM)

.........THEN MY EVIL STEP-DAUGHTER DROVE IT FOR 4 YEARS....WHILE SHE "MEANT TO GET HER'S GOING"WASN'T HER'S, SO IT DIDN'T MATTER WHAT SHE DID TO IT.

I GOT LI'L RED BACK NOW, NOT PERTTY INSIDE AND OUT, LIKE WHEN I GOT HIM......STILL DRIVES FINE, STILL GETS 30 MPG

HAD HIM FOR 8 YEARS NOWREPLACED AN O2 SENSOR ALONG THE WAY---KEPT THE MAINTENANCE UP TO DATE...........I JUST HOPE I CAN STILL DRIVE HIM LONG ENOUGH TO GET MY INITIAL $250 INVESTMENT OUT OF HIM!

I WENT AHEAD AND FOUND YOUR PART, TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF THE NEXT "PART THROW"........... I'M SURE YOU ARE CONTEMPLATING

MIGHT AS WELL GET A DEAL---HERE, OR ANOTHER PLACE THIS WORKS........"A124" WAS WORKING YESTERDAY!!!...SEE THIS LINK

DON'T JUMP ON THAT TILL YOU FIND OUT WHETHER YOUR CODES MIGHT POINT ELSEWHERE
