I have a 1500 pickup ext c 1/2t 4x with an automatic transmission. when i shift into reverse, the fuse for the turn signal blows. i have checked for bare wires with no success.

there is a torque converter clutch/brake switch on the pedal bracket
you may have a bad torque converter causing the problem. have trans guy look at it
