1995 Chevrolet Corsica Repair Question

What is more expensive: changing a car door lock? or installing a remote starter/keyless entry thingy
It's an easy question,
I replaced my driver side door with one that I bought from LKQ. After I put everything back together, I realized I need a new lock or a new key. But I see remote starters/keyless entry packages for under $100.
Should I get the starter/keyless entry? or dismantle the 'new' door to try to replace the lock?

Why cant you just put the old lock fom the old door in your replacement door?
