Service Engine Light

I have a 95 Cadillac Deville 4.9...just replaced catalytic converter and fuel filter. Check engine light remains on and makes a very loud roaring sound like a Chevy pick-up, what could be the problem?

Have the computer scanned for code/s if any present comeback with it-this is your starting point

push off and warmer on the a/c panel.when you see all segments light release.and write the codes down from the fuel data panel. then come back.
