Will seats from a 1994 work in a ?
I recently took the seats out of my 1995 bmw 540i, and bought some used 94 bmw 540i seats online to replace them. The back seat fits fine, and the front seats seem to fit fine too. However, the the seats don't seem to get power from the car and the seats won't adjust. The cables fit into the slots.

did you check for power? is plug exactly the same?

Yes I checked for power. And the plugs are exactly the same, so I'm thinking that the seats are just crap. I'm already putting back in the old seats :p

once you get them out, maybe a little sleuthing and testing can reveal the problem?
