I had to bypass ignition key
Door chimes were working and this morning after arriving to work I noticed that the door chimes stopped working and upon driving home my transmission failed to shift into the final gear, appearing to be in neutral. Is there an electrical relationship to the ignition and the transmission?

not just in high gear. that is a separate issue internally with the trans.
