1995 BMW 325i • 125,000 miles

SO I WAS DRIVING MY CAR THE OTHER DAY AND NOTICED THAT THE COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAUGE WAS ON RED LEVEL. I CHECKED THE ANTI-FREEZE ONCE ENGINE WAS COOLED DOWN ADDED ANTI-FREEZE TO IT BUT NOW ONCE I START THE CAR AGAIN AND DRIVE IT GOES BACK TO RED COLOR LEVEL IS IT THE THERMOSTAT?

Yes, it's the thermostat. You need to get that replace,
When but the thermostat, you will also need to buy the seal that comes with it.
Make sure to ask the clerk that you need the thermostat and it matches your car.
They have different thermostat make sure it the correct one and buy the seal with it also.
This will fix the problem.
I had the same problem and purchase a new thermostat and now it's working fine.
Good luck.

Inspect the cooling system, rather, have a professional BMW service provider perform the task
