enter your question...I have a 94' Volkswagon Jetta that i replaced the starter in 3times and the car still wont start unless i push start it

Have you had the battery tested and made sure the battery cables are clean and tight?Also do you have a multimeter to do some testing?

Battery cables are tight and battery is powering everything... thinking maybe it could be a safety switch cause i hit a raccoon the other day and all the problems started after that incident

Battery powering everything doesn't tell you or me the battery is good.If you dont what to have it tested thats up to you i wish you would though.So does the starter make any noise when you turn the key to the start position?Also do you have a multimeter to do some testing?
